Why we like this course?

It is really in demand in Australia

This course skills you for the occupation of Electrical Engineering Draftsperson. Which is a very in demand occupation in Australia and all over the world. It is on the Immigration Medium to Long Term List (MLTSSL).

You may be able to receive the Temporary Graduate work Visa (Subclass 485)on graduation

As the occupation is on the MLTSSL, you may qualify for the Temporary Graduate Work Visa (Subclass 485 visa) upon completion. This is an open work visa that is valid for up to 18 months after visa grant.

You only need to study at a vocational level

To meet the required skill level and be fully qualified in the occupation, you only need to study at a vocational level (Eg – Not at a bachelor level). This is important because university is expensive to study at for international students.

Electrical Engineering Draftspersons are paid well

If you look at Job Outlook website, the average electrical engineering draftsperson earns $1,784 per week.

You may not need work experience to pass the skill assessment.

Recently we have had students receive a full skill assessment upon completion of this course through Engineers Australia without requiring any work experience. Whereas, with a lot of other occupations, students will need to build up at least 1 year of work experience in order to pass the skill assessment.

This is important as if you can gain a full skill assessment with the qualification only, then you have A LOT of time to apply for different future permanent work visas.
