Certificate IV, Diploma & Advanced Diploma

Project Management

Project managers oversee a business venture, project or strategy, usually from inception to conclusion. They provide guidance and maintain the progress of various stakeholders in order to reduce risk, maximise benefit, and maintain budgets and costings as directed in the planning phase.

Certificate lV in Project Management (Duration: 26 – 52 weeks)

This qualification is suitable for autonomous individuals who identify and apply project management skills and knowledge in a wide variety of contexts. Job titles for these roles may include contracts officers, project administrators, quality officers and small business operators. Individuals in these roles might be members of a project team, with no direct responsibility for overall project outcomes.

Diploma of Project Management (Duration: 40 – 78 weeks)

The Diploma of Project Management gives you the skills to take sole (or major) responsibility for all project management functions across a project’s entire lifecycle. It can be applied across a wide range of industries and sectors. It is suitable if you are planning to start a career in project management or already work in the area and want to consolidate your skills and experience. This nationally recognised qualification equips participants with a range of specialised technical and managerial skills to plan, carry out and evaluate their own work and the work of a project management team. It also has a theoretical knowledge component.

Advanced Diploma of Project Management (Duration: 52 – 104 weeks)

The Advanced Diploma of Program Management gives you the strategic project management skills to act as the conduit between multiple individual projects and senior management. It is suitable for experienced project managers who have (or are about to) run several projects concurrently.

The course has a strategic focus and covers the skills and knowledge required to make the transition from managing an individual project to managing multiple projects. It has greater breadth and vision than the Diploma of Project Management, while also revisiting the role of the project manager.
